Ethélios
Identify. Prevent. Educate. Take Action.
Ethélios is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 and a partner of Elien Rebirth, founded in 2024. It serves as the operational arm through which we carry out some of our training, prevention, awareness-raising, and international cooperation initiatives, in direct alignment with the mission of Elien Rebirth.
Ethélios works to combat child sexual abuse, sexual violence, and violence within families, between spouses, and in the workplace—both in France and internationally—using a multidisciplinary approach that combines on-the-ground expertise, prevention, capacity-building for professionals, institutional cooperation, and the mobilization of civil society. Particular attention is given to people with disabilities, who are statistically far more vulnerable to these forms of violence and are too often overlooked by existing systems.
Violence destroys lives. Silence protects it.
Reveal
We carry out awareness campaigns through the media, online, and on the ground, as well as conferences and symposia bringing together experts, professionals, and institutions, to encourage open discussion. Raising awareness is, in itself, a form of protection.
Prevent
We conduct prevention campaigns and workshops in schools, universities, healthcare facilities, local governments, and businesses to promote the early identification of high-risk situations. On January 8, 2026, we organized an event in the Tarn department, in partnership with the SDATT, to bring this message directly to frontline professionals dealing with child sexual abuse and child prostitution.
Train
We develop specialized training courses and programs for professionals in the fields of education, health care, medical-social services, the justice system, local governments, and businesses, with the aim of strengthening their ability to effectively identify, report, and address cases of child sexual abuse, sexual violence, domestic violence, spousal abuse, workplace violence, and harassment.
Take Action
We work in partnership with public and nonprofit organizations to develop coordinated responses, advocate with government authorities, and mobilize civil society through high-impact campaigns and fundraising efforts.
Our Ambition
- A society where victims are listened to, supported, protected, and recognized.
- A society in which professionals have the skills and resources to prevent, detect, and take action.
- A society in which perpetrators are held fully accountable for their actions, and in which prevention becomes a collective responsibility.
